DreamPlay for Kids in the Metro

I’ve been to DreamPlay for the 2nd time this 2017 all because of my nephews and nieces. The first time was celebrating my two nephews’ birthdays last May (hubby’s side) and 2nd on August for my niece’s birthday. She saw my pictures before so she’s excited to experience DreamPlay. I’m a good marketer (I also believed that the kiddos will enjoy this place more) because she initially wanted to have her birthday at Jollibee but when I refreshed her memory regarding this place, she instantly changed her mind.

What will you see in this place – actually lots of slides and balls! Although it’s a bit pricey for normal entertainment/play place for children, staying here the whole day will really make the kids very happy and active. Adults can also enjoy like what I did on my first time since there are activities requiring height/age. Some of the things I didn’t try are the super high slides since I can no longer carry my weight or climbing high steps.

2017 DreamPlay Rates: PhP 880 unlimited hours (whole day pass) and activities from 9am-10pm on holidays and weekends while around 10am-9pm on weekdays. Meet and greet with DreamWorks' characters like Po (Kung Fu Panda), King Julien, Shrek, Puss in Boots and Alex (Madagascar). You can meet the gang on weekends - Po around 7pm while the last 4 mentioned will be parading around 6pm. They also have dance numbers!

What you'll enjoy inside:
  1. Shrek's Swamp Stomp (Shrek's house) - some trails are not ideal for big people like me
  2. Stairway to Heaven
  3. How to Fly your Dragon
  4. Dream Studio (Listen to music)
  5. 4D and 2D theatre
  6. Gingy's Kitchen (Gingerbread baking)
  7. And etc. You can check their website at https://www.cityofdreamsmanila.com/dreamplay

Some Suggestions:
  1. Bring socks for both kids and adults and drinking water (as per their rules, only babies/toddlers' drinking water are allowed but we’re able to bring more than that, sorry). Drinking water is around PhP85 and mind you, you’ll really get thirsty.
  2. The receptionist will advise you to make reservations on some activities especially cookie baking and 4D Theatre.
  3. Upgrade your cinema/theatre pass to PhP 170 for exclusive use with pop-corn and bottomless softdrinks – this is ideal to minimize cost of water. Hehehe.
  4. Exit the place and return if you decide to dine outside (cheaper) – just inform the attendants at the exit area that you’ll be back. Eating outside is ideal since food choices are very limited and prices are a bit expensive.
  5. There are hotels nearby that offer package deals - accommodation and certain number of hours at DreamPlay.
  6. Lastly, the whole place is air-conditioned!!

Hope you enjoy visiting this place.
